Questions
PDF to Word FAQs
Does conversion upload my PDF?
No. Text extraction, packaging, and download run in this browser tab.
Will the Word file match the PDF layout exactly?
No. Text, optional English OCR, and optional page pictures are assembled into .docx. Complex layouts, custom fonts, and vector art can differ. Spot-check in Word or LibreOffice.
What about scanned pages?
Pages without selectable text run on-device English OCR unless you turn that option off. You can also include page pictures, or prepare the scan with Scan Document first.
